i recently fished my syndicate lake day ticket water in essex a friend fished with me an caught a seventeen pound sturgion what a hard fighting fish they are pound for pound. it took nearly ten minutes to land. we also landed several medium sized carp.patience is the keyword when fishing for large specimems of different fish species and you have to put in a lot of time and effort. but it is a very rewarding and worthwhile pastime.
